How to Grow your Wedding Business – Our Experiences

In all honesty, growing a business is not all glitz and glamour, it can be extremely tough. Trust me there aren’t as many meals out and business trips as you’d think (boo :(). It can be very easy to get carried away with the entrepreneurial journey and forget to adapt your business. Both me and Georgia would like to share with you some of our experiences from our ever evolving business.

There has, literally, never been a time where things have felt motionless. There is constantly something new to learn and in all honesty there is a lot of trial and error involved. Hopefully, at some stage we will have everything figured. Although, in our ever adapting industry it’s highly unlikely. But that’s half the fun of it right?  You have to see it as positive thing, a natural stage of growth.

If something in our business isn’t working as well as we’d hoped, we simply change it. This includes everything from our internal management, to our prices. This is how we constantly evolve and improve Dream Weddings.  We suggest that after you complete a project with a client you ask for feedback. Yes, we know it’s scary to hear criticism but it’s how you will gain invaluable information about how potential clients perceive your business.

So our advice to you (you can have this for free) is to visualize your goal, embrace change and adapt to your client’s requirements. Follow this guidance and watch your business and income grow.
