Earlier this week, we invited wedding vendors within the flower industry, to share with us some of their exciting bespoke creations of 2016.
Here are our top picks:
- The Flower Wall –
Since the Wedding of “Kimye” in May 2014, the “Flower Wall” has been a growing trend within the World of Weddings. The flower wall is a bold floral feature that demands attention. However, with the correct combination of flowers, colours and additional materials, can be made into the perfect romantic piece.
We had a comment from the lovely Dionne Washington, owner of Dionne Event Productions, based in Arizona USA.
“I am currently working on a flower wall for a wedding in November. So far what is key is a proper and strong understanding of mechanics. 🙂 If you don’t have the right base, your flowers can tip right over”
Thank you for the tip Dionne, we’d love to hear about and see the final piece!
- The Floral Chandelier –
Gone are the days when you could just decorate the tables ! Now we have the option to wow our wedding guests from all angles. The Floral Chandelier is a statement centre piece that provides drama in an elegant way. One of my favourite Flower suppliers of the Floral Chandelier is Yvonne Design. I love that they see every event as unique, and aim to tell your story through their designs.
- The Vintage Bouquet –
2016 has seen the rise of our “vintage” brides, embracing all things natural, rustic and classically beautiful. A vintage bouquet usually consists of pastel coloured flowers, skillfully complimented with Gypsophila flowers.
We stumbled across a local Wedding Florist, Blooming Belles, who gave us an aura of Classic Elegance. We were able to get in contact with the owner and very talented florist, Sarah. It was extremely easy to see the passion that Sarah has for her business, which shines through in her work. So, if you’re based in South Wales and looking for a florist to capture the love you share for each other, through the love she has for her work, then Blooming Belles is definitely the florist for you!
